Chris Johnson – HIT Strategist
Chris has more than a decade of experience in IT services and web development. Chris specializes in helping medical practices make strategic IT decisions and technology implementations that improve how they treat their patients, run their practice and collect their money. Because of his dual comfort zones of knowing IT “bits and bytes, speeds and feeds,” as well as being able to deliver strategic counsel for how technology can maximize medical practice performance, he is a unique addition to any medical IT team.
A thought leader in his industry, Johnson is chairperson of the CompTIA Healthcare IT Community and a CompTIA Ambassador. In these roles, he champions the abilities of healthcare IT services providers seeking to develop a book of business in the healthcare vertical. His work focuses on the knowledge transfer that must occur for a HIT solution provider to succeed in helping medical practices adopt technology. This “group within a group” of HIT as an IT sub-specialty is a thriving community of practice because of Johnson’s day-to-day involvement, his insights and support and his real-world experience earned in the trenches as he assists medical practices across the United States.

Joshua M Smith – HIT Strategist
Joshua has been working in the IT field and web for 15 years. He started working in web with local businesses and then continued gaining experience during the dot-com era at a design firm in Sacramento. During his IT career he has helped oversee networks ranging from the State of California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) to an international apparel company. He now focuses on assisting healthcare practices utilize current technology to increase both quality of patient care and revenue.
Joshua’s current focus is on the integrating of the COBIT framework and ITIL into the company’s operations. He is one of the first to hold the CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician certificate. Additionally, Joshua is a certified professional with both gloStream and AllScripts EHR and Speakeasy VoIP systems. He is currently working on the CompTIA Security+ certificate for himself as well as the MSP Partners Trustmark and Security Trustmark business credentials for Untangled Solutions.

Angie Graham, RN – EHR Consultant
After more than a decade working as a registered nurse, Angie was looking for something new. Meeting the founders of Untangled Solutions at EMR/EHR training session in North Carolina it was decided that using her expertise as a nurse to help educate small providers on the needs of a practice to use a certified EHR solution.

Becky Smith – Management Systems & Performance Support
Becky contributes to the overall product management and customer development vision for the company. From her work with dot com startups Informania and Viviance as VP Healthcare Solutions, the strategic initiatives she launched in a global E-learning firm included developing Alliance Partnerships, and positioning offers within multiple healthcare sectors. She worked in coordination with European healthcare groups in Germany, Scandinavia and UK, identified content partners and product opportunities in Disease Management, Continuing Education, Compliance Management and e-Detailing.

Duane A. Ragland – HIPAA Consultant
Over 20 years of technical training, consulting, and I.T. experience. Duane holds 13 I.T. certifications as well as 2 HIPAA certifications. In addition to his technical background he has 15 years of management experience.
Duane has provided over 300 weeks of I.T. administration and security training to fortune 500 companies. Contracted by companies such as IBM, Phillips Oil, National Laboratories, Symantec and Global Crossing to train their internal IT staff. Hired by IBM and Earthweb to correct and/or modify internal network training materials.
